Bandung trip, West Java Indonesia

15 - 19 July 2009 - Bandung West Java Indonesia ~ This is the first time i went to Bandung. Went there with my travel friend and she gets some of her friends to tagged-along with us. So there were 5 of us. When i visit Bandung, i fall in love with it. I don't know why. We stayed at 'Rumah Evi' guest house at babakan jeruk, which will be rename as 'Kampung Melayu' soon. I love it there.

i am going to post this only in one part cause i have no mood to do blogging today.... :(

The next day we went to Tangkuban Perahu to see volcanoes crater. The journey took about 1 hour with lots scenery of vegetable plantation.

When we arrived, there are lots of salesman hustled us to buy their items at the entrance. Smothering situation. They will follow you anywhere and plead you to buy from them. Anyway, the best thing to do is just ignore them. Don't even try to asky the price or they will tail you until you left the place. The good thing is that you'll get to see beautiful scenery of volcanic craters.

We left Tangkuban Perahu and left for Kampung Daun for lunch. Kampung Daun is a Restaurant with a great atmosphere.

After lunch we headed to some Factory outlet to do some shopping. But we didn't cover all Factory Outlet because we still have tomorrow to fill in for shopping activities. Tonight is just a warm up :) So i didn't get much photos for the next day because i was busy hunting for clothing items.

We had dinner at Karamba Restaurant. It's a Sundanese Restaurant and we had 'Nasi Timbel' (timbel rice). What i really admire Indonesian restaurant is that they look classy, the restaurant people presented with nice uniform and most importantly with smile :) Even the Nasi Padang restaurant look classy here. i am talking about average restaurant not the stall or 'warung' type of restaurant. Even in my country the average type of restaurant didn't look classy and the restaurant people is wearing day to day clothes. Harapkan cafe or fast food restaurant jer la...

The next day the real shopping activities started. As i said i didn't get any photos during that day. And a day after that.. we still on with shopping activities. Then we decided to seperate because i am getting sick with shopping activities especially at 'Pasar Baru' (New Market). So we went seperate way for a while. I manage to get some photos to share...

Then we met again. We took spare time going around Bandung for sight seeing. We went to some Bandung Mall such as Paris Van Java and Cihempelas Walk (Ci Walk) and also Cihempelas street a shopping place (again!) with statue of comic supehero because some friends want to buy some souvenirs. I didn't do any shopping here.

Well, so much for Bandung trip. I love Bandung but sorry i haven't got mood to do blogging but i still doing it before i didn't do it at all :D

I'll be going to Bandung again in the future but i will try to reduce the shopping activity. But Bandung is shopping heaven where you cannot avoid from doing your shopping thingy. I am going to explore more places around Bandung in the future.
