Bali Trip 11 - 14 April, 2013 Part V

Last Day. I actually only have half of day to myself because at 5pm i have to go to the airport. So, today while waiting for my flight schedule, i still got a chance to go to GWK (Garuda Wishnu Kenchana) and Uluwatu.

On the way to GWK i stopped by at Pechatu Green Beach. The entrance area is so big. The place is prohibited to the local but open for the tourist or traveller. On the half way you have to take a mini bus to get to that place. Pechatu beach is not nearly a virgin beach but i guess i prefer Pechatu beach rather than Kuta's. Pechatu's famous for it huge wave. 

Stayed for a while at Pechatu Beach amazingly looking at the Huge wave and then i left because i cannot stand the heat of the sun. So i make my way to GWK. You can see huge Garuda statue and Dewa Wishnu statue. Garuda is a Giant ancient bird and Wishnu is like a God. I think there is a story about them. While i was at GWK, i also get a chance to see a Balinese Performance at GWK Amphi Theatre.

Ogoh Ogoh

The sun is scorching hot at GWK. i got really tired and sweating to death. Furthermore i got sunburn hahaha. I make my move to Uluwatu, the place with mischievous monkeys. Here you are advised not to wear glasses or sun glasses because the monkeys love to steal and some broke it into pieces. Anyway, the view at Uluwatu is beautiful. You have to walk and climb some stairs. The effect of scorching hot sun at GWK make me really tired. But it's worth it because of Uluwatu's beautiful view.

i left Uluwatu to the airport. On the way to the airport i saw a death ritual. I did get a snap of the ritual. While i shot my camera, one of the Balinese make a noise and shout "nape nga di bawa balik saja mbak" (miss.. why don't you just bring it home...) hehehe. i just grinned :D and we all laughed together.

So that's it my day at Bali. I think Bali is beautiful. The people are friendly and the Place is amazing. I would go again to Bali with a good friend. The only thing that i not fond is the hot weather. Other than that Bali is amazing place to visit. My favourite place is Bedugul :)

Bali Trip 11 - 14 April, 2013 Part IV

Waken up early in the morning by a huge splash sound by the pool. So someone already jumped in the pool at 06:30 a.m. Anyway, today i am going to Bedugul (Cold place) to see Pura Ulun Danau (Ulun Danau Temple). It'll took 1 and half hour to go there from Sunset Road to Bedugul. I love the scenery during my journey to Bedugul. On the way to Bedugul suddenly there were huge crowd on the road with police and CSI. i was curious to know what happened. Surprisingly, they found a body at side of the road. Well, that gave me a creep. 

Bedugul Area is cooling and refreshing. I love this kind of atmosphere rather than at the beach. Anyway, don't mind me with the same pose (hand on my waist) because it feels awkward when other people took my photos :D

When i reached that Ulun Danau Temple.. again i was surprise to see a huge crowd of people wearing white clothes. Then i found out that the local were having some kind of ritual festival (i forgot the name of the ritual). The place is beautiful but because it was crowded the you have a limitation privacy to take photos.

After that i leave Ulun Danau Temple and go to Bedugul Botanical Garden nearby. I love this place. Very relaxing. I saw some family and couple had a picnic in the garden and some people even do a hiking. This Place is huge. At this time, my camera battery is flat. Fortunately i brought along my Lumix for spare :)

I leave Bedugul Botanical Garden and headed to Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot is a bit warmer but the place is also beautiful. There is also a temple which situated at the sea. If the sea is low tide you can walk to the temple, but i am not sure if they permitted the outsider to enter the temple.

At night i am hunger for Angry duck, so i made a room service and order the menu. This is how angry duck looks like :)
