Bali Trip 11 - 14 April, 2013 Part III

I continue my way to Kintamani to see Mount Batur. On the way there, it was pouring with heavy rains. The rains creating heavy fogs. Mount Batur were covered with thick fog when i arrived. There goes my chance to snap a beautiful Mount Batur with beautiful lake surrounding. That remind me about my trip to Kawah Putih (White Crater) at Bandung. Twice dissapointment. Now, another dissapointed feeling. So no mood to take photo here.

Mount Batur defeated by thick fog :(
After having my lunch at Kintamani Mount Batur Restaurant i move back to the lower ground and stopped by at Coffee Plantation to check out and taste out some various type of Coffee. At this time rains still pouring. I was escorded with umberella while walking through the plantation.
In Bali there is a famous Coffee called 'Kopi Luwak' or 'Kopi Musang' (Chivet Coffee). The coffee came from a chivet Poo :) i don't really know how to explain it. Let the pictures do the talking... However i didn't taste that Chivet Coffee while i was there, but i bought for 60g which cost about 170,000rp. Expensive huh??

So i left that Coffee Plantation and headed back to Kuta and stopped by at Tegalalang (Rice) Padi terrace. It was really beautiful there but there are too much tourist. I stayed there just to take some photos and then make my move.

On my way to Kuta i saw loads of Handicraft shop with beautiful decoration. There lots of interesting things there from wood craft and some sort of marble shiny stuff (lamps, animals, vase.. etc). While on the way, i also saw some of the local also preparing for some kind of ritual.

Arrived to Kuta. I went to see the Famous Kuta Beach. To be honest, i am not fond of a beach that been invaded by tourist. The essence of a local beach turned out to be a foreign beaches. So it only took me 10 minutes at the beach snapping some photos and then left the beach.

on the way to Kuta beach. So many motorbikers..

Jimbaran is famous for sunsetting Romantic dinner. As for me lets say i just wanted to see how's the place is while having my dinner. It is quite expensive here. Maybe because you pay for the nice view and good fresh seafood. I just took a small fish and a small squid hehehehe.. Budget! So far it's true that the food is fresh.

Awkward looking photo..
