Bali Trip 11 - 14 April, 2013 Part II

12/04/2013 at 8:30a.m, my Bali driver pick me up at the hotel. Our first destination is Around Ubud. We stopped by at Hand made Batik making. To tell you the truth i am not interested to watch it as i can and already watched Batik Making at my own country. So it wasn't really give me an excitement. As i expected, they sells Batik with higher price (same in my country). Anyway, sharing some photos.

So that's it for Batik Making Photos (hehehe). So, i continue my way to watched the ancient Balinese show called "Barong" at Batu Bulan, Gianyar. I love the show so much eventhough i don't even understand what they are talking about.They speak ancient languange (Hindu + Javanese) if i'm not mistaken. Correct me if i'm wrong :). But no worries, they will give you a piece of printed A4 paper for you to read (I asked for English translation) to understand what the Story is all about. My favorite character is Mischievous Barong :) and i like Rangda too. Somehow one character remind me of 'The Predator' hahaha.

Rangda & Barong. I think Rangda been reincarnated with brown hair.,,



Barong and Keris Man (if i'm not mistaken) they said the Keris man is immortals.



Me. Behind is a place where they performed the Barong and Rangda show.


Stopped by at I wayan Mardiana Bali Painter house to see some painting. I would buy all but well, i am a budget traveller hahaha. As been told that they had been doing painting from generation to generation. It is all about family business.

You can come and visit here. They allowed you to take Photos eventhough you didn't buy any of their Painting. They will not scold or get mad at you at all. And they didn't even force you to buy any. Very nice people. So no worries.
